WINTERSVILLE, Ohio

Roughly 1,500 people attended a rally at Indian Creek High School where former President Bill Clinton drummed up support for President Barack Obama.

Clinton spoke for 40 minutes, driving home some of the main points of Obama's campaign.

He discussed the economy, unemployment rate, tax cuts, Medicare, and education and manufacturing.

Clinton said he wanted make it clear that the president does not get enough credit for what he has done in the past four years.

"Nobody could have fixed all of this damage in four years. Unless you're old enough to have lived through and remember the Depression, you have no idea," said Clinton.

He went on to say Obama's challenger, Mitt Romney, is all about "hide-and-seek games," and Ohioans should stick with the man who has supported them when they needed him the most.

"One of the things I like about Ohio is it's kind of an old-school place. We like our families, we like our communities, we like our football teams, we like our band and we're for the people that help us. We feel enormous loyalty. When this state was on the brink of economic disaster, Barack Obama had your back, and you need to have his back today," said Clinton.
