STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —

Protesters with the group Anonymous returned to the Jefferson County Justice Center to show their support for the alleged victim who they've been calling "Jane Doe."

Thursday's protests were very similar to Wednesday's. Anywhere between 15 and 20 people were at the Justice Center and they were silent. All of their words were spelled out on signs for all to see.

The group Anonymous has said from the beginning they are protesting mainly to act as the alleged victim's voice.

Some people who showed up had more personal reasons. One woman NEWS9 spoke with said she was sexually abused and wants to make sure justice is served since she believes it wasn't in her case.

"I just really want to see her get justice because it's hard whenever you go through this and then you go to the court hearing and nothing happens. They walk out free. It's hard to go through. And I just want to show her that we are all here for her. All over the country, everyone is supporting her," the woman said.

Protests are scheduled to resume at 11 a.m. Friday. Members told NEWS9 they will continue to show up as long as it takes until they know that justice has been served.

Regardless of the verdict, they say they will remain calm and peaceful.
