Wetzel County Sheriff James Hoskins tells NEWS9 a person is in custody after an incident where a substance was thrown on several road workers on Hoyt Ridge Road on Wednesday evening.
Six people were transported by ambulance to a hospital following that incident. Hoskins says the investigation is ongoing and the person in custody was taken in for questioning late Wednesday night.
