Vacant home destroyed in fire

East Liverpool, Ohio —

Firefighters plan to investigate a fire that destroyed a home in East Liverpool late Tuesday night.

The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. at 1137 Erie Street. Firefighters say it quickly became a three-alarm fire. It took crews about three hours to extinguish the flames.
