OHIO COUNTY, W.Va.
Wheeling police are investigating the death of a man found near the Bridgeport Bridge.
Officers were called to 19 South Wabash St. on Wheeling Island on Monday evening.
Officers found a man unresponsive behind the Gumby's.
As of now, officers are leaning toward a medical or natural cause of death.
When asked, they said the initial investigation did not yield any results that would look to be criminal in nature.
The coroner was called to the scene and the body taken to Wheeling Hospital.
