Man arrested after crash involving a deputy sheriff's cruiser

STEBUENVILLE, Ohio -- One man was arrested after police accused him of crashing into a Jefferson County Sheriff's cruiser at a gas station along Sunset Boulevard in Steubenville.

Steubenville Police said the driver, Shane Holland, 21, drove away from the scene after the crash.

Police pulled over Holland along Lincoln Avenue near the intersection of Wilson Avenue.

Holland was charged with a DUI offense and hit-skip.

Dispatchers said the deputy involved in the incident is OK. He was not in the car when the crash happened.
