Man arrested after shots fired in Belmont Co. mobile home park with stolen guns

BETHESDA, Ohio —


A man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly firing shots with stolen handguns at a Belmont County mobile home park.

Police said the incident happened at the Pleasant Valley Mobile Home Park in Bethesda on Saturday night.

Officials said a man was "popping off" rounds into the mobile home park using stolen handguns.

Police said he was taken into custody, but the suspect's identity is not being released due to an ongoing investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Belmont County Sheriff's Office, Bethesda and Barnesville police departments responded to the incident.

There were no reported injuries.
