JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio —
A man is in the Jefferson County Jail awaiting arraignment after Steubenville police arrested him Friday on a bench warrant and for having drugs.
According to reports, police tracked down Joseph Elias, of Wintersville, at a gas station on North Seventh Street.
Officers pulled him over and later found eight hypodermic needles, tourniquets and over a gram of heroin, reports said.
Elias is charged with possession of narcotics, drug instruments and drug paraphernalia.
He is being held in the county jail without bond.
