OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. —
Ohio County sheriff's deputies arrested a Pennsylvania man earlier this week after they said he left his two young children in his car while shopping at The Highlands Walmart.
Joseph Bertini, of New Eagle, is charged with one count of child neglect creating risk of injury.
Deputies said two people pulled up to Bertini's car, which was running, and saw the two children inside. The people waited and after a while, called police.
Officials said Bertini was inside the store for 40 minutes before he came back outside.
