BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —
Belmont County first responders transported a man to a local hospital after he struck a tree with his car Saturday night, authorities said.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol went to Barton Road at 10:40 p.m. to what was initially reported as a rollover crash. When troopers arrived at the scene, they said the driver went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Cumberland Trail firefighters also reported to the crash site. The man was transported to Wheeling hospital for injuries, troopers said.
