MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. —
A man was severely injured in an early-morning motorcycle crash in Moundsville.
Police said the crash happened around 4 a.m. Friday near First Street and Pine Avenue.
They said the man was trying to turn onto U.S. Route 250 when he lost control and crashed head-on into an oak tree.
The man was transported by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Investigators said they believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
