Man shot, wounded in Wetzel Co.; gunman remains at large

WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. —

Police are searching for a gunman who shot and wounded a man in Wetzel County on Sunday.

The victim was shot two or three times and is recovering at a Morgantown hospital.

The shooting happened in Littleton around 9:30 p.m. on railroad tracks near U.S. 250.

Police are searching for a black man driving either a red Thunderbird or Monte Carlo.

According to the West Virginia State Police's division in Hundred, the victim is from Massachusetts.
