Man who burglarized numerous homes pleads guilty

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va.—

Joshua Bowman pleaded guilty to nine various counts Tuesday in Ohio County Circuit Court.

Bowman pleaded guilty to five counts of burglary, three counts of conspiracy and one count of bringing stolen property into the state.

Bowman burglarized and stole mostly electronics and jewelry from many homes in the spring and summer of 2011.

Judge David Sims asked Bowman why he committed these crimes. Bowman said he wasn’t in the right state of mind and apologized to all the victims.

Bowman will be sentenced Dec. 7. He faces anywhere from nine to 100 years behind bars.
