Marching Season Ends For Toronto Band

On Oct. 26, the Toronto High School band closed out its marching season with “Music In Motion,” which is a musical display of the band’s competition and football shows for the 2006-2007 season.

The evening kicked off at 7 p.m. amidst a few sprinkles of rain, with Toronto entering the stadium to perform its pregame show. Following the high schoolers was the middle school band with their show consisting of three show tunes highlighting the junior color guard. The THS band then marched onto the field and played all of the songs in its football show this year. After a short intermission, the band performed its competition show, the "Pirates of the Caribbean."

The THS band ended its season with the following awards: two first-place trophies one second-place trophy three first-place color guard trophies one first-place percussion trophy one first-place field commander trophy one overall color guard trophy
