Missing Kids From Ohio Valley Found

APACHE COUNTY, Ariz —

After weeks of searching, the case is over for authorities who have been looking for a couple who fled the area with their two children from Tyler County last month.

The children were last seen in the Alma, W. Va., area last month with their mother, Jessica Seckman and her husband Joe Seckman.

They were found Friday in Apache County, Ariz.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Chad Simpson said the kids, their mom and step father were found after police pulled over Jessica during a routine traffic stop.

Simpson said that the Seckman's are now behind bars facing felony charges.

Jessica was facing one count of consealing children, and Joe is facing one count of aiding and abetting.

Simpson said they believe Jessica and her husband fled the area last month after she learned she was not getting custody of her children after alleged reports of child neglect between her and her kids.

The Seckman's will be extradited back to West Virginia, but the process could take anywhere from two to three weeks.

The children will be brought back to the area and placed in the care of West Virginia Children's services.
