STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —
A mobile billboard posted on a truck is traveling around the Steubenville area with a message to Ohio's attorney general about a teen rape investigation.
The billboard is directed toward Attorney General Mike DeWine and reads: "Prosecute everyone who's involved in the rape of a 16-year-old girl in Steubenville, including those who posted photos and videos on the Internet instead of trying to stop or report the crime. The world is watching Steubenville."
A picture of the billboard posted on the Operation Rollredroll & Occupy Steubenville Facebook page already had more than 350 shares as of Wednesday afternoon.
The mobile billboard comes after media reports and social media posts about two Steubenville High School student-athletes who are charged with raping a teen. The case has garnered national attention.
The driver of the truck started his job on Tuesday, and NEWS9 met up with him on University Boulevard on Wednesday.
The company that owns the truck, Traffic Displays Mobile Billboards, is based in Michigan. The driver said his company was contacted through an advertising agency in Washington, D.C.
NEWS9 contacted Traffic Displays from a phone number on the side of the truck, and a person from UltraViolet -- an equal rights group and women's advocacy agency -- returned NEWS9's phone call.
According to a news release from the group, UltraViolet is an online community of more than 300,000 women and men "who want to take collective action to expose and fight sexism in the public sector, private sector and the media."
In a news release, UltraViolet co-founder Nita Chaudhary, said, "70,000 UltraViolet members demand that Attorney General Mike DeWine step up his work in this case to show that when it comes to a crime as serious as rape there (are) no 'get out of jail free' cards." Chaudhary added, "The world is watching Steubenville, and we want to see justice. This billboard is only the first step."

The driver is scheduled to stay in town until Saturday.
A spokesperson for the Attorney General's Office said they had no comment about the billboard.
David Taylor, who lives in Seneca County but is in Steubenville for work, said he heard about the rape case before he got to town.
"It's all over the news," Taylor said. "Maybe the kids will learn, but I doubt it."
Local resident Duane Spurrier said he doesn't know much about the case so he's not influenced either way by the sign.
"I don't know too much about what's going on so I don't have an opinion of it. I think they made a whole lot out of nothing so far," Spurrier said.
When asked if the billboard would have an impact on him if he saw it traveling around the city, he said, "No. Not for me it wouldn't."

"People are fed up with a culture and a legal system that allows crimes against women and our bodies to go unpunished in the United States," concluded Chaudhary. "We are all Steubenville, we are all outraged, and on behalf of this survivor and women everywhere, we want everyone involved in these horrible crimes to face justice."
