MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. —
A Moundsville man who police said was involved in an assault over the weekend is facing additional charges.
Christopher Vennis is charged with strong-armed robbery.
Moundsville police said Vennis was walking last week in town and hit a man on the street and stole a case of beer from him.
Over the weekend, the alleged victim was watching WTOV9 and he said he recognized Vennis from his mug shot on television.
Vennis remains in jail.
