By Philip Stahl

NEW MARTINSVILLE, W. Va —

A New Martinsville man is out of jail on bond after being arrested by police early Thursday morning.

Jacob Fluharty, 28, is facing one count of grand larceny.

He was arrested last night by the Abbey View Apartments.

Police say a person living in the building reported a burglary and $8,000 missing.

After investigating, Fluharty came back to the scene where he was questioned.

That’s when police found the missing money on him.

He was booked into the Northern Regional Jail.
