New W.Va. online directory helps residents find recycling centers

By The Associated Press

CHARLESTON, W.Va. --

The West Virginia Division of Energy is making it easier to find a recycling center.

The Division's online West Virginia Recycling Directory has been updated so residents can now use the directory to find recycling centers near them.

Searches can be made by county and by the type of waste to be recycled. Officials with the division said some recycling centers may require waste to be dropped off, while others may pick up items.

The directory can be accessed at wvcommerce.org/directory/recycling/default.aspx.
