People are making plans to ring in the new year.

“I am going to spend time with friends and family, and I just turned 21 so we’re going to party it up,” said Courtney Zapotoczny of Steubenville.

“We’re going to a private party with friends and family,” said John Snyder of Wellsburg.

While some said they would be heading out to parties, others said they will not be leaving their homes.

“I’m sleeping.  I just want to stick around and catch up on my rest,” said Frank Wassel.

Places like Froelich’s Classic Corner in Steubenville and Undo’s in Weirton are offering up a night of entertainment and excitement.

“A DJ will be here and we’ll have dinner and dancing.  We’ll have both bars open,” said Laurianne Smith, Undo’s bar manager.

“We have a mystery dinner theater in the museum.  Basically there will be a play while people are eating,” said Nina Tennant, Froelich’s kitchen manager.

Both businesses are still accepting reservations and they also accept walk-ins.
