With less than two months until election day, the Obama for America "Heartland" bus tour stopped in Steubenville Monday, discussing issues such as health care and job creation.

"For a working person to vote for Mitt Romney would be like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders," said former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland. "And we all know what Col. Sanders does to chickens, don't we?"

Strickland made his opinion clear -- that Obama is the right choice for middle-class America and Ohio. He also spoke on Obama's "war on coal," saying it doesn't exist.

"Coal production in Ohio is up seven percent over what it was when President Obama became president. There are 10 percent more coal miners working in Ohio now than when President Obama became president," Strickland said.

Mitt Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, are also campaigning in Ohio, trying to convince voters they are the right choice. However, Obama supporters at Monday's event said the president needs four more years to fix our country.

"Originally, everyone thought that President Obama was going to be a Jesus. He was going to heal the country of all the wrongs that had been done to it, which he could not do in four years. In eight years, he may be able to bring us back from some of the mess," said supporter Willa Wade.

Chris Maloney, a spokesperson for the Romney campaign, said the "War on Coal" is real, because EPA regulations have been increased under Obama. He also said for the economy to improve, the middle class needs strengthened -- something he said Obama has failed to do these past four years.
