Belmont County, OH —

Paul Ryan's supporters weren't the only ones in Belmont on Saturday, some members of Obama for America made the trip.

Once Ryan had finished his speech NEWS9 caught up with one of them and he addressed one of Ryan's criticisms of the president.

"The campaign needs to be truthful about coal and the fact remains recent numbers indicate there is a 10 percent increase in employment in the mining industry," said Ed Good. "The campaign needs to be truthful with people about that."

Good went on to say that the president represents the valley and took issue with references Romney has made to the 47 percent.

Good says a majority of the people who live in the valley are part of that 47 percent.
