COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio —
A Columbiana County teen was killed in a one-car crash on Sunday night.
Brittany Marie Gulu, 17, of Salem, died in the crash, troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. on Lisbon Road near St. Jacobs Logtown Road.
Troopers said Gulu was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle when the car slid off the roadway struck a mailbox and tree, then overturned.
Gulu was ejected from the car and was transported to Salem Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Troopers said alcohol was not a factor and there were no other vehicles or passengers involved.
The OSHP Lisbon Post is investigating the crash.
