ONLY on 9: 3 arrested in Belmont Co. armed burglary; victim speaks to NEWS9

By Briona Arradondo

BRIDGEPORT, Ohio —

Bridgeport police arrested two men and a woman accused of burglarizing another Belmont County man's home and using guns to force their way inside Saturday night and then again Sunday.

The victim told NEWS9's Briona Arradondo about his traumatizing experience, saying he thought he was going to die. Armed with guns, police said Richard D. West III, of Bridgeport, and Brian L. Williamson II, of Bridgeport, kicked in the front door at 48 Mann St. just before 8 p.m. Saturday night.

"I was sitting there eating dinner and it kind of shocked me. I didn't really know what to do. And by that time they were already in there," said Glen Cameron, the burglary victim. "They made me take my necklace off and stole my earrings and asked me for the cash in my pocket."

Cameron said Williamson and West pistol-whipped him and hit him with fists.

"He threatened to kill me if I told anybody, and they even discussed tying me up in the basement and leaving me there," said Cameron.

According to police, the burglars fled on foot that night and returned with knives to kick down the front door again Sunday.

"I was just sleeping on the couch and I heard the door kicked in," said Cameron, who then ran out of the house and called 911.

Martins Ferry and Bellaire police departments assisted Bridgeport officers with the home invasion incident. NEWS9 cameras caught one of the suspects in handcuffs.

Cameron said he's worried about his two sons with his ex-fiancee, Michelle Brown, of Bridgeport, who is a suspect in the crime.

"I just care about my sons. That's all. I just want the best for them," said Cameron.

Williamson and West are both charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, one count of felonious assault, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct. Brown faces misdemeanor charges of conspiracy, obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct.
