A Pennsylvania woman faces up to 25 years in prison and a $250,000 fine in connection with six bank robberies, including one in Weirton.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II said that Jessica Crawford pleaded guilty Friday to bank robbery for her involvement in the Dec. 3, 2010, robbery of the United Bank on Three Springs Drive.

Crawford, 32, of Marianna, Pa., made her plea in U.S. District Court before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

According to a news release from Ihlenfeld, Crawford was charged for her involvement in the Weirton bank robbery and five other bank robberies with her then-boyfriend, Rudolph Todd Haladyna, formerly of Clarksville, Pa.

Haladyna was previously sentenced to 20 years in prison for his involvement in those robberies.

Investigators said Crawford was the getaway driver in most of the robberies, which included two at the Charleroi Federal Savings Bank in Bentleyville, Pa., in September, 2010; two at the PNC Bank in Redstone Twp., Fayette County, Pa., in October 2010; and one at the Huntington Bank, Cheat Lake Branch, in Morgantown in November 2010.

Crawford is free on bond pending her sentencing.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Robert H. McWilliams, Jr. and investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the West Virginia State Police.
