Pandelos Seeks Mental Evaluation Before Sentencing

A Wheeling man pleaded guilty to having sexual relations with a young boy, but instead of being sentenced Friday, a judge decided he’ll have to undergo a mental evaluation first.

Daryn Pandelos was accused of having sexual contact with a young boy several times over a three-year span.

Friday in court, his attorney stated that Pandelos suffers from bi-polar disorder.

A judge from Marshall County was brought into the case because the victim's mother is an employee of the Ohio County courthouse.
