Belmont County, OH —

After a quick stop in Pittsburgh on Saturday, Republican vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan made his way to Belmont County, where he spoke in front of a large crowd of supporters at the Valley View Campgrounds in Belmont.

His supporters waited for hours in the rain to see him, but once Ryan's bus pulled in they quickly forgot. Once he made his way on stage he thanked them for waiting and started talking about Belmont County.

"This is such beautiful country. I mean I have think there are some deer (around)," Ryan said. "My phone is camouflage and orange and it reminds me that I can take my daughter for her first gun hunt for deer after we've elected Mitt Romney president of the United States."

During the remainder of his 15-minute speech, while he discussed many issues, one topic that kept surfacing was coal.

"The one thing Belmont County can do?," Ryan asked. "If you head to early voting at your Belmont County Board of Elections you can vote for Mitt Romney and end this war on coal and allow us to keep these good-paying jobs."

When it was over Ryan began signing autographs and shaking hands.
