Police chase spans two counties

GUERNSEY/BELMONT COUNTIES, OH—

A man is in custody following a police chase.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the chase started in Cambridge, when a suspect involved in some sort of shooting incident got into his minivan and started traveling east on I-70.

Police then set up road spikes in Belmont County, where they later caught the man at mile post 202 near the Barnsville exit.

The man was believed to be armed at the time the chase started.
