Police stop vehicle in Dover believed to be filled with stolen items

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio —

Police stopped a vehicle filled with items believed to be stolen from various vehicle break-ins throughout the city of Dover.


NEWS9's news partners at the Times Reporter said the vehicle and its two occupants were stopped in the 400 block of North Wooster Avenue on Sunday.

A resident on Race Street reported he saw several people stealing items from his vehicle.

Officer Matt Russell said police are attempting to determine where the items were stolen from and are seeking input from anyone whose vehicles have been entered.
