WOODSFIELD, Ohio —
A woman was sexually assaulted at her home in Woodsfield following a break-in around 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Woodsfield Police Chief Chuck Hamilton said during the assault, the woman was able to get away and retrieve a shotgun. Hamilton said the intruder quickly fled on foot.
Police describe the suspect as a white male around 5-foot-10, weighing and approximately 180-190 pounds and wearing a black jacket and a black ski mask.
