By NEWS9

MARSHALL COUNTY, W. VA. —

U.S. 250 in Marshall County is back open after a truck carrying propane flipped on its side.

The crash happened on U.S. 250 near Cameron about 11 a.m. at the intersection of Irish Ridge Road and Middle Grave Creek Road.

According to Marshall County Sheriff's deputies who responded, the driver lost control on a curb and crashed into a shed. The driver suffered some lacerations and was taken to a local hospital for injuries, said a Limestone EMS crew member at the scene.

Some diesel fuel spilled on the ground.  Crews worked to removed as much of the tanker contents as possible Saturday afternoon, before re-opening the road.

Seven homes had to be evacuated for safety reasons.
