Raccoon tests positive for rabies in Wheeling

WHEELING, W.Va. —

The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department is telling people to stay away from raccoons.

The department is warning that they found a wild raccoon that tested positive for rabies.
   

The raccoon was found along the East Bethlehem Boulevard area.
   

Officials are also asking residents to stop leaving food out for any wild animals, including cats.
