More than 40 boats are expected to come to the area and race all weekend.
The event also boasts jet ski stunt shows, food vendors and the world's fastest man on water.
Organizers said this event is family-friendly with lots of children's activities planned.
The regatta runs from 9:45 a.m. to about 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
