Rising Fuel Costs Hit West Virginia Schools

Rising fuel costs are hitting West Virginia schools hard. The State Department of Education said it needs another $5 million to run its buses.

The money the state gives to each county for transportation costs is based on what was paid two years ago. Prices have risen drastically since that time.
