By NEWS9

WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. —

A tractor-trailer and school bus collided in Wetzel County early Monday morning.

Dispatchers said the collision happened on Route 20 in New Martinsville at around 7:30 a.m.

Officials said there were students on the bus at the time of the crash, but no injuries were reported.

Wetzel County School Superintendent Diane Watt said the bus was going around a turn when the rear of the truck crossed the center line, swiping the driver's front left side and tire.

Less than a dozen students on their way to Magnolia High School were on the bus at the time, but no one, including the drivers, was injured.

Officials said the damage looks to be superficial but the bus is being thoroughly inspected before getting back on the road.
