MARSHALL COUNTY, W. Va. —

A man accused of sexually assaulting two teenagegirls in Moundsville was arraigned on seven counts of sex charges Saturday.

Authorities caught and arrested John Tedrow, 32, Friday night in Marshall County on Rines Ridge. After a week on the run, U.S. Marshals said tips on Tedrow's whereabouts helped track him down.

"Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, along with Moundsville detectives, we worked all week, starting from Fridayall the way through last night," said Chad Simpson, with the U.S. Marshals service.

Investigators said he made a video of at least one assault.

"We received a lot of news tips that we were able to follow up on. We received information that Tedrow was possibly staying with up on Rines Ridge, possibly staying at the girlfriend's house," said Simpson.

When authorities arrested him at his girlfriend's house, they said Tedrow's twin brother was also in the house.

Tedrow had a firearm and ammunition when he was arrested, and Simpson said he bought the gun for a purpose.
"We followed up by that and multiple interviews. They stated that he was either going to kill himself during the search or possibly shoot out with us," said Simpson. "So anytime there's a firearm involved we use the utmostcaution."

Tedrow faces seven counts of sex charges, including sexual intercourse with a minor and producing child pornography.
"During the transport last night, Tedrow was very concerned about serving time, about being in the jail due to the severity of his charges," said Tedrow.

But authorities said Tedrow didn't express any remorse about his charges.
