STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —
A Steubenville man is behind bars Sunday in Jefferson County after police responded to call of a shot fired, according to police reports.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Park Street about 11:48 p.m. when a woman called police to report that a shot had been fired at a house, reports said.
When police went to investigate, they said they found a 30-round magazine on a desk in a bedroom, and the weapon was inside a plastic bag. Officers said they discovered a shell casing outside the house.
Police found Christopher Prentice and arrested him for discharging a firearm in the city and domestic violence, reports said.
He is being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail.
