Snow Claims Cameron Man

CAMERON, WV —

A 46 year old Cameron man died shoveling snow last night. The first victim of this immense snow storm. The man apparently died of a heart attack.

The American Heart Association cautions that if you haven been physically active, you should be extremely cautious when lifting heavy amounts of snow. The combination of sudden physical exertion and the cold increases the heart's workload. Contact 911 if you experience any of these symptoms.

Uncomfortable pressure Fullness Squeezing or pain in the center of the chest that lasts for more than a few minutes Pain spreading to shoulders, arms or neck Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath.
