MARTINS FERRY, Ohio —
Martins Ferry police are pushing for speed cameras at the Hanover Street and Route 7 intersection.
Police Chief John McFarland told NEWS9 the area sees its fair share of crashes.
Redflex cameras would be installed to help deter speeders by capturing their cars and license plates, McFarland said.
The city council will vote on an ordinance Wednesday, McFarland said.
