SPII task force honors late chief with Zdanski Award

By NEWS9

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —

The Sexual Predator Internet Initiative Task Force held its annual banquet in Belmont County on Thursday.

Bethesda Police Chief Jeremy Campbell said the task force debuted The Zdanski Award, in honor of the late Chief Tim Zdanski.

"It's an award we give to someone that shows dedication and commitment to their profession, just as Chief Zdanski did. He was extremely dedicated to what he did. And we felt it was appropriate to honor him in that way, by giving out an award,” Campbell said.

Several county officials attended the banquet, which was held at Undo’s West in St. Clairsville.

Awards were presented to Assistant Prosecutor Helen Yonak and Judge Harry White.
