Starbucks representatives said mug orders have revived a Columbiana County ceramic company.
On its website, www.starbucks.com, the company said American Mug and Stein company in East Liverpool is producing a ceramic 12 oz. "Indivisible" mug for Starbucks. "It's a sleek white celebratory product made with raw materials sourced from Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia, and Florida," the website stated.
Retailing for $9.95, Starbucks will make a $2 donation to the Create Jobs for USA Fund with each purchase.
Starbucks says on its website that American Mug and Stein was able to rehire people that had previously been let go.
