The state patrol honored Trooper Bryan Sponaugle with the Ace Award.
Sponaugle received the award for his work to recover five stolen vehicles and arresting five suspects in connection with the thefts.
Sponaugle will now have an Ace license plate for his cruiser and a ribbon for his uniform.
