By Briona Arradondo and  NEWS9

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —

Steubenville police are searching for the person who broke into a pharmacy late Wednesday.

The burglar broke into the A & B Pharmacy on Sunset Boulevard and escaped with prescription drugs.

Police said they responded to an alarm that activated around 11:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found broken glass from the burglar breaking into the building.

Chief Bill McCafferty said a detective gathered evidence from the scene, and police are also going to review a video from the burglary.  Police said the burglar wore an orange winter hat, blue gloves, a black jacket with jeans and held a crow bar.

As of 5 p.m., no arrests had been made.

The pharmacy manager had no comment about the burglary and the store will remain open on Thursday.
