The case is cracked on a string of robberies in Ohio County, W. Va. Thousands of dollars in stolen goods were recovered on Wednesday from a home in West Liberty. Police say a 20-year-old male and two 19-year-old men are responsible for the crimes.
Police say between mid November through December, a series of thefts were reported around Oglebay Park and West Liberty, W.Va.
Police estimate the items total around $10,000.
The prosecutor is reviewing the information and says he will file charges.
Police are telling the public to learn a lesson from others.
"This is a trusting community, it's a good community and people leave their vehicles unlocked or leave their homes unlocked. At this time it's just not a safe thing to do," said Sgt. Scott Adams of the West Virginia State Police.
Police say the suspects are cooperating.
The prosecutor says it is important to report stolen items. With out a report police can not be certain who the items belong to.
