The Edison game of the Mountaineer-Buckeye Athletic Conference volleyball tournament that was taking place at Indian Creek Junior High has now been relocated to accommodate a 13-year-old who was unable to get inside the building.

According to Kim Ward, the mother of that teen, she spoke with Indian Creek superintendent John Rocchi Tuesday, who informed her he made the decision to move the Edison game to Indian Creek High School, which is handicapped accessible.

She said her daughter plays volleyball, and her son, Ty, was not able to attend the first game of the tournament because the school's wheelchair lift is broken. She said she and Ty will be attending Tuesday night's meeting, and they're grateful Rocchi understood their concerns.
