Suspect arraigned on charges related to 2 other crimes

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —

A man accused of obstructing justiceĀ  inĀ  regard to a double homicide investigation in Steubenville was arraigned in Steubenville Municipal Court on Monday.

Fred McShan was also arraigned on a charge of intimidating a victim related to a burglary investigation. Attorney Mike Nogay showed up in court Monday to represent McShan.

"Sir, I have not seen the actual warrants. I have been told about them by police," said Nogay.

No contact orders were issued by Judge Daniel Spahn Monday. They apply to witnesses and victims in the homicide and burglary investigations.

McShan's relatives were named as suspects in the homicide and burglary investigations.

McShan was scheduled to be back in court for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 20 at 10 a.m.
