It's a crime that outraged people in Weirton, a man makes off with money raised to help a child cancer patient, now there are new developments in the case. 3 year old Brodie McUmer is battling cancer. This week volunteers have been collecting donations at the local seven eleven, to help pay for the child's medical care. Thursday police say 24 year old Branden McLaughlin of Weirton took off with one of the jars of money meant for the little boy. Police issued a warrant for McLaughlins arrest Friday morning and the local man was taken into custody.
