JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio —

A juvenile court judge has ruled there is enough evidence to uphold the two counts of murder against a teen accused in the shooting deaths of two people in Steubenville.

All of the evidence against Kordel L. Moncreace will next be presented to a grand jury in adult court.

Moncreace, 16, is accused of killing Otavius Wilson and Ryan Toson outside the Heritage Place apartments in Steubenville in late January. He faces two counts of murder with gun specifications.

A judge held Moncreace's probable cause hearing on Wednesday morning in Jefferson County Juvenile Court.

During the emotional hearing, the judge found probable cause against Moncreace and bound the case over to the next term of the Common Pleas Court grand jury.

Prosecutors called four witnesses in today's hearing, and Moncreace's defense did not call any witnesses to testify.

The judge set Moncreace's bond at $500,000 on each count for a total of $1 million. He will remain in the juvenile section of the jail unless he posts that bond.
