Teen dies as a result of injuries suffered in Harrison Co. crash

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio —


State police said a 19-year-old driver seriously hurt in a Harrison County crash involving a tractor-trailer has died.


Max Romeo, of Bowerston, was pronounced brain dead at Akron General Hospital just after 5 p.m. Wednesday, police said.


Authorities said Romeo's car hit a semitrailer on U.S. Route 250 near the Tuscarawas-Harrison county line on Tuesday afternoon.



The driver of the truck was not seriously hurt.
