Michael Ryan Stevens, 19, of New Cumberland, was killed in the crash on Route 8 in New Manchester.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. just north of Locust Hill Road.
Witnesses told police Stevens swerved on his Honda motorcycle to avoid striking a deer before he crashed into a tree.
Police said Stevens was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
